The Republic of Croatia, together with School of Medicine, has officially become an observer in EATRIS

The Republic of Croatia, together with the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, has officially become an observer member in EATRIS, the European infrastructure for translational medicine.

We are proud and pleased to announce that the Republic of Croatia, supported by the Ministry of Science and Education together with the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, has officially become an observer in EATRIS, the European infrastructure for translational medicine.

Croatia’s presence in EATRIS is the result of many years of efforts by the scientists from the Centre for Translational and Clinical Research (CCTR) led by the previous head of the Centre, Professor Nada Čikeš, and the current head, Professor Fran Borovečki. Committed to translational research, the associates of the CTCR finally succeeded to become part of this important EU network, which will strengthen its scientific capacities and translation of the research results to industry and to the patients.

Participation in EATRIS as the Observer member will provide Croatian scientists a great opportunity for networking, collaboration, access to state-of-the-art research infrastructures, translational know-how as well as training and supporting services.

You can read the announcement of the accession of the Republic of Croatia to EATRIS on the EATRIS website.
