The first White coat ceremony
While celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Medical Studies in English program, the School has reached another milestone. The first White coat ceremony. Students of the 3rd year, starting their first clinical course of History taking and physical examination have taken an oath in front of vice-dean prof. Ježek and prof. Sedlić stating:
„I commit to honour the relationship formed between patient and physician by maintaining confidentiality at all times. I vow to contribute to the field of medicine through ethical study and equitable evidence-based care, and to treat my patients and represent my profession with compassion, humility, and equanimity.˝
After the oath was taken, the students have received their white coats and proceeded to their practical classes in the hospital.
