Provides access to new databases
Wolters Kluwer company, our longtime associate and the sponsor of the MICC conference, has provided a free-trial access to interesting interactive databases and a large collection of e-books to aid online teaching and learning.
The access is open until 6 June 2020 via the proxy service of the E-resources Portal and includes the following databases:
- Acland’s Video Atlas of Human Anatomy – excellent aid for studying anatomy.
- Bates’ Visual Guide to Physical Examination – practice patient examinations in these “stay at home” conditions. The database contains video recordings of physical and clinical examinations “from head to toe” and serves as a useful tool for learning clinical medical practice.
- Health Library – a large collection of e-books published by LWW publishers, including renowned textbooks, the Board Review Series collection as well as self-assessment tools. To access all features of the collection, we recommend creating your own account.
- 5 Minute Clinical Consult – a tool designed as a fast and targeted aid for primary healthcare physicians. It was designed on the principles of evidence-based medicine.
