Our Professor Boris Brkljačić Elected Honorary Member of the American College of Radiology
The Head of the Department of Radiology at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine and Vice Rector for Students, Undergraduate and Graduate Studies at the University of Zagreb, Prof. Dr. sc. Boris Brkljačić, has been elected an honorary member of the American College of Radiology (ACR).
The ACR is a reputable professional medical society founded in 1923 and representing almost 40,000 diagnostic radiologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians and medical physicists.
As a reminder, Professor Brkljačić graduated, received his master's and doctoral degrees from the School of Medicine University of Zagreb. He is one of the leading Croatian radiologists and the head of the Clinical Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Dubrava Hospital. He is a former president of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), from which he received a gold medal, and last year he became a member of the European Academy (Academia Europaea).
