Accreditation of the Zagreb School of Medicine in Croatia
The Ministry of Health has carefully considered the appeal submitted by the University of Zagreb in Croatia to accredit its medical studies and to qualify for the state licensing exam in Israel.
The appeal ensued the release of new guidelines concerning the accreditation of medical studies of international medical institutions.
Delegates of the Ministry of Health visited the University of Zagreb and concluded that the medical school adequately complies with applicable standards.
Therefore, any medical student who has already started studying at the University of Zagreb in 2019/2020 academic year shall qualify for the licensing exam upon the conclusion of their studies, but only if they comply with all curricular requirements specified on the Ministry of Health website.
